Well this week brought one surprise.
After arriving home from school I looked at Ella and noticed something different about her, Humm…
“What did you do to your Hair!”
This is her hair last week..

This is one thing that Porter got for his birthday in September.
It is a push walker, it was to help him learn to walk.
I figured that it would still get used after he learned how to walk.
Boy was I right!
He pretty much uses it for something everyday.
Some days he pushes it, or pulls it.
Other days he stores things in it or turns it upside down and spins the wheels.
Sometimes he uses it like a scooter (which is pretty cute too, but scary),
but lately he does this….

Two years ago I started to collect boxes for the Twelve Days of Christmas.
I got this idea from my friend in Logan, and wanted cute boxes to put the items in.
Starting on the 13th of December, the kids open one present each night until Christmas Day.
They love being able to open and do a fun activity each night.
I put inside each box a hint of what we are going to do for the night
Then I label them with a tag that has 1-12 on it.

This is what I did this year…….
First Day~ Secret Service Manger- put up the manger and explain that one piece of straw gets put in for each service or kind deed
Second Day~ Wrap presents for needy family
Third Day~ Make Nativity- A foam nativity kit
Fourth Day~ Game Night- Play Candy Land
Fifth Day~ Letters to Jesus and coloring nativity scene.
Sixth Day~ Movie Night/ popcorn
Seventh Day~ Gingerbread house and go drive and look at lights
Eighth Day~ Make treat and take to neighbors
Ninth Day~ Sing Christmas Carols
Tenth Day~ Hot Chocolate and cookies
Eleventh Day~ Listen to 2 Audio Christmas Books while doing sewing craft
Twelfth Day~ Read Christmas Books & open sibling gifts
Ella has been waiting for at least three years (since Naomi lost her first) to loose a tooth.
Finally her day came on December 2nd.
She had been wiggling her tooth for just a few days and asked me to try to pull it out.
I obliged and it came right out!
No tears were involved in this episode:)
Just contained Joy.

Last year we received a package from a dear friend Diane in Logan.
Much to our delight it was her delicious homemade candies!
Jared was especially excited, and I have proof…

We were blessed this Thanksgiving to enjoy Jared’s brother, Jonathan and Co. for a whole week!
The weather cooperated so well that were were able to take them to all the sights around here and even cut down our christmas trees!
It was so wonderful to have them. I throughly loved having Charie around me just about 24/7. The kids had so much fun with their cousins, they have a friend for each child.
Here is a quick pic recap….
On the night of a babysitter this weekend, Naomi and Ella were reminding Esther how to behave.
Telling her that some of the things she was doing she should in fact NOT be doing.

At the start of our lessons each sunday, we let Ella’s class tell us all one thing that they are looking forward to or were happy to have happen.
Jared loves to tease the kids, so while each kid told us what they were going to be for halloween, Jared would repeating what they said and add “sausage” to it. Example: Ella said a cat, so Jared would say, “a cat sausage, cool!
When we got to the last child and all the kids were laughing, Jared repeated just as he had been. The last little boy said, “If we were all sausages then we would have to say Halo-weenie!”
